Lead Standards & Delivery

Lead Policy.

This Lead Policy explains how GetQLeads defines, delivers, evaluates, disputes, replaces, and credits leads supplied through our lead-generation campaigns.

Last Updated: July 31, 2026
Clear expectations for every campaign.

Lead-generation results depend on many factors. This policy establishes general standards for GetQLeads campaigns while allowing campaign-specific agreements to define more precise criteria where needed.

01

Purpose of This Policy

This Lead Policy applies to leads delivered by GetQLeads unless different terms are agreed in writing for a specific campaign.

Its purpose is to establish reasonable standards regarding:

  • Lead validity
  • Lead delivery
  • Duplicate leads
  • Shared and exclusive leads
  • Invalid lead claims
  • Credits and replacements
  • Buyer responsibilities
  • Campaign targeting

Campaign-specific terms may supplement this policy and may establish different definitions, dispute windows, or credit requirements.

02

What Is a Lead?

A lead is a potential business opportunity containing information associated with an individual who may have expressed interest in, requested information about, or otherwise matched criteria associated with a particular campaign.

Depending on the campaign, lead information may include:

  • Name
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Geographic location
  • Service interest
  • Financial or qualification-related information
  • Responses submitted through an intake process
  • Date or time associated with the lead
A lead is not a sale.

A lead represents an opportunity for the buyer to attempt to establish a business relationship. GetQLeads does not guarantee that a lead will answer, qualify, enroll, purchase, or generate revenue.

03

Lead Delivery

Leads may be delivered using methods appropriate to the applicable campaign.

Delivery methods may include:

  • Email notification
  • Secure dashboard
  • CRM integration
  • API integration
  • Spreadsheet or file transfer
  • Other agreed delivery methods

A lead will generally be considered delivered when GetQLeads successfully sends or makes the lead available through the agreed delivery method.

Buyers are responsible for maintaining functioning systems, inboxes, integrations, credentials, or other technology required to receive lead information.

GetQLeads is not responsible for delays caused by a buyer's internal systems, email filters, CRM failures, disabled integrations, or other conditions outside GetQLeads' reasonable control.

04

General Standards for a Valid Lead

Unless campaign-specific terms state otherwise, a lead may generally be considered valid when the information delivered substantially matches the criteria established for the campaign.

Campaign Match

The lead reasonably fits the requested vertical, service, geography, or other agreed targeting criteria.

Usable Contact Data

The lead contains the primary information required by the campaign for buyer follow-up.

Relevant Interest

The lead originated from activity relevant to the applicable campaign or matching criteria.

Delivered Correctly

The lead was delivered or made available through the agreed delivery method.

Additional requirements may apply depending on the campaign.

05

Potentially Invalid Leads

Subject to campaign-specific rules and appropriate verification, a lead may be eligible for review as potentially invalid when a material problem exists with the lead itself.

×

Clearly Invalid Contact Data

The primary telephone number or other required contact field is clearly nonexistent, structurally invalid, or unrelated to the individual identified.

×

Materially Incorrect Data

Required information materially contradicts the agreed campaign criteria.

×

Proven Duplicate

A duplicate falls within the applicable duplicate window and meets the campaign's duplicate definition.

×

Outside Targeting

The lead clearly falls outside an agreed mandatory campaign criterion.

GetQLeads may require reasonable documentation to verify an invalid lead claim.

06

What Does Not Automatically Make a Lead Invalid

A lead is not automatically invalid simply because the buyer does not successfully convert the opportunity.

Unless campaign-specific terms state otherwise, the following circumstances do not by themselves establish that a lead is invalid:

  • The lead does not answer the first call
  • The lead does not respond to voicemail
  • The lead does not respond to an email
  • The lead does not return a call
  • The lead changes their mind
  • The lead says they are no longer interested
  • The lead declines the buyer's offer
  • The lead does not meet additional internal requirements not included in the campaign criteria
  • The lead does not qualify for financing, enrollment, or another downstream product
  • The buyer is unable to close the sale
  • The lead purchases from a competitor
  • The lead already spoke with another business, unless exclusivity terms specifically provide otherwise
  • The buyer followed up after a significant delay
Contactability is not the same as conversion.

Lead generation creates sales opportunities. Successful conversion depends heavily on response time, sales process, offer quality, qualification standards, market conditions, and other factors outside GetQLeads' control.

07

Duplicate Lead Policy

Duplicate treatment may vary by campaign.

A duplicate may generally mean that the same individual was previously delivered to the same buyer within an agreed period and matches sufficient identifying information.

Duplicate detection may consider fields such as:

  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Name
  • Address
  • Internal lead identifier
  • Other campaign-specific information

A duplicate window, if any, should be established as part of the campaign terms.

Duplicate does not always mean invalid.

The same consumer may submit multiple inquiries, express renewed interest, or become relevant to a new campaign at a later time. Whether a repeat record qualifies as a duplicate depends on the applicable campaign rules.

08

Shared and Exclusive Leads

Leads may be offered as shared, limited-distribution, exclusive, or another campaign-specific format.

Lead Type General Meaning
Shared Lead A lead may be delivered to more than one business, subject to the applicable campaign structure.
Limited Distribution Lead distribution may be limited to a defined number of buyers or recipients.
Exclusive Lead GetQLeads agrees not to intentionally distribute the lead to another buyer through the same campaign during the applicable exclusivity period.

Exclusive status does not guarantee that the individual has never contacted another company, submitted another inquiry elsewhere, or been independently identified by another source.

A lead should only be treated as exclusive when the campaign terms expressly identify it as exclusive.

09

Lead Disputes

Buyers should review leads promptly after delivery.

A disputed lead should generally include enough information for GetQLeads to identify and evaluate the record.

A dispute may require:

  • Lead identifier
  • Date of delivery
  • Reason for the dispute
  • Supporting information
  • Relevant call disposition, where appropriate
  • Additional documentation reasonably requested for verification

The deadline for submitting disputes may be established in the applicable campaign terms.

Timely review is important.

Buyers should not retain leads for an extended period and later attempt to dispute them based only on poor sales performance or lack of conversion.

10

Lead Credits and Replacements

When a lead is determined to qualify for an adjustment under the applicable campaign terms, GetQLeads may provide a replacement lead, campaign credit, account credit, or another agreed remedy.

The specific remedy may depend on the campaign and does not necessarily require a cash refund.

GetQLeads may deny a credit or replacement request when:

  • The lead meets the agreed campaign criteria
  • The dispute is based only on lack of conversion
  • The claim is submitted outside the applicable review period
  • Required supporting information is not provided
  • The buyer's systems caused the delivery problem
  • The buyer altered or corrupted the lead data after delivery
  • The buyer's own filters or qualification standards differ from the campaign criteria

Approval of a credit or replacement in one instance does not create a requirement to approve similar claims where the circumstances are materially different.

11

Lead Volume and Availability

Lead availability may vary based on campaign criteria, geography, demand, seasonality, consumer activity, market conditions, targeting, and other factors.

Requested lead volume does not necessarily guarantee that the exact volume will always be available.

GetQLeads may adjust, temporarily reduce, pause, or discontinue delivery when necessary due to:

  • Lead availability
  • Quality considerations
  • Technical issues
  • Campaign changes
  • Regulatory concerns
  • Payment status
  • Buyer compliance concerns
12

Campaign Targeting

Campaigns may use targeting criteria appropriate to the available lead program.

Criteria may include factors such as:

  • Geographic market
  • Service interest
  • Lead category
  • Campaign source
  • Consumer responses
  • Other available campaign-specific criteria

GetQLeads only agrees to criteria expressly included in the applicable campaign.

Internal buyer standards, underwriting requirements, sales preferences, or qualification rules that were not included in the campaign should not be used later to characterize otherwise valid leads as invalid.

13

Buyer Responsibilities

Buyers are responsible for the handling and use of lead information after delivery.

Buyers agree to:

  • Protect personal information appropriately
  • Restrict access to authorized personnel
  • Use lead information only for legitimate purposes related to the applicable campaign
  • Maintain appropriate technology and security practices
  • Review leads promptly
  • Follow up responsibly
  • Respect consumer requests regarding communication
  • Maintain accurate records regarding disputes where appropriate

Lead information may not be resold, published, transferred, or distributed to unrelated third parties unless the applicable campaign terms expressly permit such use.

14

Compliance Responsibility

Buyers are responsible for determining and complying with laws, regulations, licensing requirements, privacy rules, marketing rules, and industry-specific requirements applicable to their use of lead information.

GetQLeads' delivery of a lead does not constitute legal advice and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every possible method of contacting an individual is legally permitted in every jurisdiction or circumstance.

Lead data must be used responsibly.

Buyers should establish appropriate compliance procedures before making calls, sending text messages, sending emails, or otherwise contacting consumers.

15

Fraud, Abuse and Manipulation

GetQLeads may investigate suspected abuse of the lead dispute or credit process.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Fabricating invalid lead claims
  • Misrepresenting consumer responses
  • Altering lead records to create false disputes
  • Submitting repeated claims designed primarily to avoid payment
  • Using disputed leads while simultaneously seeking credits for them
  • Sharing lead information in violation of campaign restrictions

GetQLeads may suspend or terminate campaigns where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, misuse of lead data, non-payment, or serious compliance concerns.

16

Changes to This Lead Policy

GetQLeads may update this Lead Policy as its services, campaign structures, technology, or business practices evolve.

Material campaign-specific requirements may also be established in proposals, campaign agreements, invoices, insertion orders, or other written communications.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version of this policy.
